Why We Serve

God has been equipping us over the past 10 years to go to the people of Honduras. In 1998, Jared was called into full-time service while on a work team to Honduras. Christina accepted the call to go at the age of 16.

We both attended Ohio Christian University and received degrees in missions. We met and were married during our years in college, and shortly after graduation we left to serve as volunteers in Honduras for six months. At that time, God showed Christina that she needed to go back to school for a degree in education. Now we serve as missionary disciples with WGM to Honduras.

Where We Serve

Honduras is located in Central America and is considered one of the poorest countries in the Western Hemisphere. Spanish and Indian dialects are the main languages spoken among Hondurans, and the people are very open to the gospel message. WGM’s main ministries in Honduras include children’s/youth, church, compassionate, educational, medical, and support ministries.
