Escuela El Sembrador

Founded in 1954, Escuela El Sembrador or the School of the Sower (Matthew 13) continues to provide a second chance for young men and youth who have had little or no formal schooling due to economic situations and needs of their families. Three hundred students pass through the school’s corridors each day. One hundred students are boarding students who live, eat, sleep, work, and study on campus. The remaining two hundred commute from Catacamas or other nearby villages each day.

Escuela El Sembrador offers junior high and high school education on campus as well as vocational programs in wood-working, industrial mechanics, and agricultural mechanics. The Bible Institute at El Sembrador has produced many of the Honduras Holiness Church’s pastors.

All students are presented with the Gospel through on-campus church services, in classroom devotionals, through the counseling services provided by the school, and in direct teaching through Bible classes as part of their curriculum
