Thanksgiving

Category: General

We hope that all are having a great Thanksgiving. Angie and I are certainly grateful to be able to spend the day with some of our family. Rick has started a new chemo drug, so we would appreciate your prayers for him these days. Nothing could keep him from carving the turkey though.

Helping with ministry activities

Category: General

Every time we send out a prayer letter or card, it takes a lot of help in the process. This time for our Christmas cards, I asked some people from our regional ministry to help, as well as a visiting supporter, John McNutt. They stuffed 900 Christmas cards in 2 hours! Pretty good timing. Of course, eating pizza was a pretty good reward, besides the fellowship everyone had together.

Kelin even visited to play while everyone else worked at stuffing letters. She likes to come to visit "abuela" because she gets to play and see the new puppy we have.

El Sembrador graduation

Category: General

We were privileged to be able to attend the graduation for three Choluteca students we have sponsored for the past two years. Ruben and Victor graduated in Industrial Mechanics and Ulises graduated in cabinet-making/wood-working. We are proud of them, as they also continued studies in high school at the same time. They received several awards at the graduation ceremonies.
