Can you remember a time you completed a goal? Your thoughts? The final event of the year are the graduations. This year we had 28 students graduate from their vocation areas, five students graduate from the Bible Institute and more than 10 complete high school.

All these students completed a goal they never imagined would occur in their lives....finishing a part or all their education. When most in Honduras only finish up to a sixth grade education these students were very proud of their accomplishments! They are now ready to press on to their next goal.

Bible Institute graduates

The last week of school in Escuela El Sembrador brings about a flurry of activities. A night of testimonies, a Christmas program, a banquet for the graduates, and a going away party of all the students.

The Bible Insitute students and a few extra boys entertained us during the Christmas Program with various carols.

The students did a great job with "The Three Trees" play.

A heart for God...always seeking....always learning more of Him. As the 2008-2009 school year came to a close we saw four students who gave their hearts and lives to God desire to be baptized. We had already seen these young Christian men allow God to remove the old from their lives and take part in a new life with Christ. What a blessing to share in this celebration!  We rejoice in the work at El Sembrador of helping young students transform into new creations and live for Him!

May we all desire to have a heart for God. One that seeks and desires to learn more of Him each day!
